DJ Stephan, owner of The Bunny Sitter Club, devoted a large
part of her life to owning and caring for pets; but, she always
thought that it was just a hobby. At the age of 19, she took on
her first corporate job in the IT field hoping that, while she
worked on a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information
Systems at Cal State, LA, it would develop into a career. DJ
did earn her BS from CSLA and was enjoying her corporate
success; but, she did not feel fulfilled. Her devotion to animals
remained uppermost in her heart, as she continually
volunteered her time at the Wildlife Way Station Park in LA,
and other rescue organizations. Finally, at the age of 26, DJ
realized that Pet Sitting was not just a hobby; it was her life’s
work. With her characteristic enthusiasm, she set about
creating for herself a satisfying career, focused on the care
and love of pets.
The Bunny Sitter Club is named for DJ’s two companions,
Snow-Bun and Gray-Puff, both rabbits. But we give
professional care to a full range of pets, from horses, dogs &
cats, to rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, chinchillas, birds & fish. All
are treated with love, respect, caring and kindness. The
Bunny Sitter Club offers a complete range of services, from
daily care, overnight stays, agility training, play activities and
walks, to appointments at the grooming salon, veterinarian or
physical therapist. We are a pet sitting company that truly
